Permanent Brow Makeup is for everyone that wants a more perfected brow with out the use of make up. You will wake up with brow convenience. A little more time added to your day. A little more time for you!
THE PROCESS
The initial session will take 2 hrs. A numbing cream is applied for 20-30 minutes before the procedure. During this time we'll discuss your brow desires. Your brows are measured for symmetry and a brow pencil is then used to draw your brows on. Once the shape is agreed upon the process begins... Every hair stroke is strategically placed one by one, using a hand-tool or small machine to create shading dipped in organic pigment with a color perfect for you. Resulting in your very own customized brow. No one brow is the same.
*Brows are numbed through out the procedure ensuring the most pain free process.
BEFORE CARE
-No coffee or other stimulants -No Alcohol or other blood thinners -No Retin A skincare products -If you have any questions concerning medical conditions please consult your doctor before scheduling your appointment and bring a doctors note to your appointment. Don’t worry, you can have coffee after.
DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT IF:
-You are under the age of 18 -You are pregnant or nursing -You are taking blood thinning medications -You have viral infections or diseases -You are undergoing chemotherapy -Your skin keloids
The most important thing that goes into a successful permanent makeup procedure is how well the client follows the aftercare procedure. You want to make sure to keep the area moist with Aquafor, all day long 24/7 for at least 10 days. This will allow the color to set in and avoid oxygen from hitting your brows and changing the color while it is setting in.
AFTER CARE
Microblading is a shared effort. Once you have left the studio your after care begins. It is simple but all steps need to be properly adhered to achieve your best brows. DO NOT WASH THE PROCEDURE FOR 48 HOURS! For the first 3 days: Press area dry with gauze to absorb any excess fluid with a paper towel or gauze. Do Not use tissue. For 10 days: Use mild soap on the area and re-apply the aquifer Avoid for 10 days: Makeup (on procedure area), Extreme Sweating, Swimming, Tanning, Hot Sauna, and Laser/Chemical/Botox Treatments, Sun.
AQUAPHOR IS YOUR BEST FRIEND
-Use a cotton swab to apply Aquaphor Ointment throughout the day for 10 days (the area should never be dry). -For the first 48 hours after the procedure Do Not get your brows wet. This includes sweating. -Do not touch the procedure with your fingers as they may have bacteria on them and create an infection. -We suggest Aquaphor because it tends to not cause inflammation, but if you are allergic, vaseline will do just fine. -Always use a “total sun block” sunscreen until the area(s) have fully healed to prevent future fading of pigment color. -Do not use products that contain AHA’s on the procedure area as they will fade the color (Example: Glycolic, Lactic Acids)
THE HEALING PROCESS
Your brows will need to heal for 10 days before you see the final
result. During that healing process, the color of your brows will be slightly off and they might scab. You would then come in for a follow up appointment 4-6 weeks after the initial procedure.
